Sherborne Girls make final preparations for Nepal Expedition ...

Next stop ... Kathmandu!

As the second of two training sessions took place at Outposts Bush Camp in Somerset, ready for the Girls' tailor-made expedition to Nepal in early July, they told us of the special concert that they had held to raise separate funds in support of the Tiny Hands Community Project where the girls will be volunteering.  

Paradise Children's Home, part of 'Tiny Hands' organisation is located in Pokhara, Nepal's second largest city nestled beneath the Annapurna mountain range in the Himalayas.

FINAL TRAINING SESSION ...  focused on getting to know one another better, further teambuilding, working as a group with their expedition leader, checking fitness levels, risk assessments, kit check and ensuring all final preparations are in place ready for departure day! 

Well help me then - don't just stand there laughing!
